With lower density than other neighbourhoods in Cambridge, East Galt residents are typically older individuals and couples who have called this area home for several decades. In the past, East Galt did not have many children or young families, however, this seems to be changing as newer developments are popping up. One of the greatest features of East Galt is that it has a small-town charm thanks to its close proximity to nature and many fantastic outdoor activities, like the Cambridge-Paris Trail. However, it’s also just a hop, skip, and a jump away from downtown.
